Million Homes have a number of investment options and each programme offer

LAGOS TO CAPTURE DATABASE OF REAL ESTATE
PRACTITIONERS
Amid growing concerns
about unscrupulous activities in the real estate sector, Lagos officials have
insisted that the coming on board of Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Agency
(LASRERA), will completely checkmate frauds in the practice.
Special Adviser to the
Governor of Lagos State on Housing, Toke Benson-Awoyinka said it is now
mandatory for all real estate practitioners to register with LASRERA at a fee
before they can practise in Lagos, Nigeria’s south-west..
She said this became
necessary to capture and update a unified central database of real estate practitioners
and their activities.
THE COOLEST ARCHITECTURE ON EARTH IS IN ANTARCTICA
Representatives from
Brazil's scientific community and government will head to Antarctica this month
to inaugurate its new Comandante Ferraz Research Station, which replaces a
facility lost to fire in 2012.
The two low-slung
buildings, designed by Estudio 41, a Brazilian architecture firm, house
laboratories, operational support and living quarters - and could be mistaken
for an art museum or a boutique hotel.
Construction in Antarctica,
long the purview of engineers, is now attracting designer architects looking to
bring aesthetics - as well as efficiency, durability and energy improvements -
to the Earth's coldest neighbourhood.

A REAL ESTATE FACE
AMBASSADOR Gilbert Chagoury
Ambassador Chagoury has built a career on acute
business acumen with visionary leadership and humble philanthropic service that
has made him one of the most highly respected industrialists in the world. But
perhaps more than any other single attribute,
Born in Nigeria in 1946 to Lebanese parents, Gilbert
witnessed the end of British colonial rule of the country and the dramatic
changes independence brought to Nigerian life.
With his wife at his side, Ambassador Chagoury focused
his energy on building on his sales and management experience and taking his
and his family’s future in his own hands. Seeing great opportunities to build
and invest in businesses in a number of emerging industries in quickly growing
Nigeria, he founded The Chagoury Group in 1971, joined by his brother
Ronald in 1974. The rest is history.
Today, Gilbert Chagoury, with his brother and partner
Ronald, is overseeing one of the most ambitious land-reclamation projects ever
attempted: Eko Atlantic. In search of a permanent solution to safeguard
Bar Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos, from flooding and the effects of severe
coastal erosion, Lagos Governor reached out to experts and developers for a
solution.
But it was the Chagoury Group that provided the
answer. Eko Atlantic, a 10 Million Square Meters city is rising out
of the ocean, changing the face of Africa. With more than 25 million people
expected to live and work in Lagos by 2015,
We hope Eko Atlantic will transform Lagos into Africa’s
first mega-city and will become the new financial epicenter of West Africa.
WHY NIGERIA – KEBBI STATE - Kebbi State has a very
rich historical background both in relation to the Hausa State and the Sokoto
Caliphate.
